I studied Geography at LSU, got my FAA Part 107, and took the degree airborne at Marathon Petroleum's Garyville refinery. Now most of my work there is the site's enterprise GIS and digital twin, plus the software the drone program runs on.
Off the clock, the same instinct ships real-time systems and live games. I like problems where the hardest part is invisible: a spatial index, a binary format nobody documented, a renderer that has to hold 60 fps.
