Geography first, then the software
"I fly the sensors, then build the software that turns their data into decisions."
I studied Geography at LSU because I wanted to understand how the world fits together: coordinate systems, terrain, the way places connect. Then I got my FAA Part 107 certificate and took that degree airborne at Marathon Petroleum's Garyville refinery, one of the largest in the country. Today most of my work there is the site's enterprise GIS and Cintoo digital twin.
The software came from necessity. The site needed dashboards, thermal pipelines, LiDAR processing, and coordinate tools that didn't exist, so I built them, and they're now in daily use. Off the clock, the same instinct runs live multiplayer games and sports sites with real users.
I'm based in New Orleans and open to GIS and geospatial roles, including mapping and geospatial software.

GIS Specialist / UAS Operations
Build and maintain the site's enterprise GIS: standardizing data to Marathon's standards, publishing ePlot layers from DEV to TEST to PROD, and bringing CAD, survey, LiDAR, and drone sources into one accurate set of layers. Manage the site's Cintoo digital twin and the pipelines that feed it. Still fly the multi-sensor DJI fleet under Part 107, including confined-space missions under hot-work and H2S protocols, and build the software the drone program runs on.
GIS Analyst
Created environmental site maps and processed spatial datasets in ArcGIS Pro; produced client-ready deliverables and supported spatial analysis.
